The Skin I'm In
04:14

Settle down; your body's cold.
Move underground; the darkest hole.
But all the warmth in the earth won't take your mind from her.
Settle down; your fading thin,
Said, "get me out of the skin I'm in",
But all the sin, buried in,
The darkest hole, within your soul,
Can never be untold.
Said, "if you want to show me, I've the perfect body"
Hasn't he? Hasn't she? Haven't all of we?

Father
03:19

I heard from my father the body that aches,
Is only the body that's aching,
But here at the bottom, beneath all the waves,
Not only my body is sinking.
Asleep at the bottom of many a rain,
Where breathing is rotten with envy,
I'm late at the bottom to wake up again,
In my nakedness.
Lately if honest I'm barely awake,
The path I have trodden so heavy,
I weep for the promise I never have made,
I'll stare into dark 'til I'm steady,
Forsaken, I'm lost I've got barely a name,
I've nearly forgotten already.
Come get me.
